Individualised Living Options

Cardinal Care helps you set up NDIS Individualised Living Options in Brisbane and Hobart, flexible living arrangements with support that fits your life.
Individualised Living Options

Living Arrangements
Your Way

Home should fit your life, not the other way around. NDIS Individualised Living Options, or ILO, helps you live where and how you choose. The support flexes as your needs change. Unlike a group home, the focus is the living arrangement that suits you, whether that is living alone or sharing with someone you trust. Cardinal Care helps you set this up across Brisbane and Hobart, funded under your Core Supports budget.
A Break You Can Count On

How We Support Your Independent Living

With Cardinal Care, ILO starts with a simple question, how do you want to live? From there we help you design the setup, bring in the right support, then adjust it as life changes. We make it work across Brisbane and Hobart, around the home and people you choose. Here is what we offer.

Individualised Living Options FAQs

Choosing where and how you live is a big decision, so here are answers to common questions about ILO.
What exactly is ILO?

ILO is a flexible NDIS support that helps you live independently in the home you choose. It is not about the home itself but the support you get to live how and where you want.

ILO is for NDIS participants over 18 who want to set up an independent living arrangement. It suits people moving out of a family or group home, or anyone wanting a more tailored setup.

ILO can support many setups, including living alone, with a host or with other participants. It is about finding what works best for you.

ILO is funded through Core Supports and usually runs in two stages. First Exploration and Design, then the ongoing Support Model that covers your primary and supplementary supports.

SIL is usually for shared, group living with daily support. ILO is more flexible and fits a wider range of living situations, giving you more say over your home and support.
